PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Privacy policy
This policy explains what we do with your data when you visit itbroliai.lt and itbrothers.lt, contact us, use remote support or the free tools. In plain terms: the website collects no more than it needs to work.
Updated: 2026-09-03
Data controller
The data controller is UAB IT BROLIAI, company code 302917132, Piliakalnio St. 3, Kaunas, Lithuania (company details). For questions about personal data write to [email protected] or call +370 618 05093.
The policy applies to itbroliai.lt (Lithuanian) and itbrothers.lt (English). Both sites share the same content and the same features.
What we collect when you simply browse
The website is static: it has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising or social media tracking plug-ins. We use no cookies and show no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
The only entry in your browser is the colour theme you choose (dark or light), kept in the browser localStorage entry “itbroliai-theme”. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Like every website, our hosting server and the Cloudflare network through which the site is delivered may temporarily record technical request data: IP address, time, requested address and browser type. These logs are used only for security and site operation (legitimate interest) and are not linked to you as a person.
Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so your browser sends the font request to Google servers, which see your IP address. The site loads no other external resources.
When you contact us
When you email or call, we process your name, contact details and the content of your request in order to reply, prepare a quote or provide the service. The legal basis is entering into and performing a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering your request.
We keep correspondence while the request is handled and for as long as needed to evidence our relationship; contractual and accounting documents are kept for the periods required by law.
Remote support
The “Remote support” button uses your browser type to select and download the remote support program for your computer, or redirects to the TeamViewer QuickSupport app in the App Store or Google Play. The browser type is used only for that choice and is not stored.
A remote support session starts only when you run the program yourself and grant the technician access. During the session the technician sees your screen and can control the computer; you can end the session at any time. The remote support platform provider processes technical session data under its own privacy policy.
Free tools
External IP checker. Your browser contacts the public ipify service (api.ipify.org and api6.ipify.org) directly to read your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and Cloudflare connection data for this site to estimate your country. The result is shown only in your browser; we do not store it.
Open port checker. Our server attempts a TCP connection to the public IP address of your request on the ports you choose. Only the address the request comes from is checked; results are not stored.
Inventory report. Uploaded PC Check JSON files are read and processed only in your browser. No file or part of a file is sent to our server; PDF, CSV and XLSX are generated locally.
PC Check application. The downloadable Windows application and the macOS and Linux script do not connect to the internet and neither sends nor collects any data. Results are written only to your computer, and what happens to them is up to you.
Lithuanian company database (rekvizitai.itbroliai.lt) is a separate IT BROLIAI service showing company data from public sources. It uses no advertising or user tracking and keeps no search history.
Who receives data
We do not sell data or use it for marketing. Technical data is seen only by the service providers without which the site would not work: the hosting provider, Cloudflare (network and protection), Google (fonts), ipify (only in the IP checker) and the remote support platform provider (only during a session).
When we provide IT services to customers, we process personal data in their systems as a data processor under the service agreement and only on the customer’s instructions.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to processing and receive your data in a portable format. Contact [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
If you believe we handle your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
Content created with AI tools
The texts, illustrations, images, code and tools on these sites, including the PC Check application and the browser tools, were created using artificial intelligence tools. All content is reviewed by IT BROLIAI, which remains responsible for it, and service descriptions, prices and technical claims are checked before publication.
The exception is the vendor product imagery on the ESET, Cove, Microsoft 365 and PDF-XChange pages: that is official vendor material used under their brand guidelines.
No personal data of visitors, customers or staff is passed to AI tools when content is created.
Changes
We update the policy when site features or service providers change. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
