CYBERSECURITY

ESET PROTECT

We see from one console whether company computers and servers are protected, up to date and free from detected threats, and now also what AI tools and agents do on them. We select licences, deploy protection and review alerts.

ESET PROTECT platform interface

WHAT WE SEE

More than whether antivirus is installed

The management console shows the security status of every device, detected threats, outdated software and computers that have not checked in recently.

This lets us review the whole company from one place instead of connecting to each computer separately.

WHAT WE DO

From deployment to alert review

  • Review current protection and device count
  • Select licences without unnecessary features
  • Deploy the software and configure common policies
  • Enable the AI security features when your team uses AI assistants or agents
  • Review important alerts and contact you when action is needed
  • Periodically review the overall security posture

NEW: AI SECURITY

AI tools and agents open a new path for threats

Staff increasingly use AI assistants and autonomous AI agents that reach external sources, download files and run tasks on their own. That is convenient, but it also opens a new path for malicious code and data leaks.

ESET PROTECT plans now include an AI security layer. It runs as part of endpoint protection, so there is no extra software to install, and its alerts appear in the same ESET PROTECT console.

WHAT IT COVERS

Two parts of AI security

  • AI agent protection: checks the repositories, scripts and external services an AI agent reaches before they are used, so malicious components do not reach the device
  • Follows the agent's whole chain of actions and detects threats that only show up after several steps
  • AI behaviour monitoring: spots unusual AI tool activity on devices and warns before it becomes an incident
  • Incidents are created automatically in the ESET PROTECT console, where we review them with the other alerts
  • Entry includes a basic, limited level of AI security; the full scope starts with Advanced

According to ESET, about 900,000 AI skills have been analysed: 25,000 were flagged as suspicious and 3,000 blocked as malicious.

PLAN COMPARISON

How much protection do you actually need?

Some companies only need endpoint protection. Others also need disk encryption, Microsoft 365 security or advanced incident investigation. Every plan now includes AI security, at a basic level in Entry. This table explains the main differences.

PlanCore protectionAdditional capabilitiesBest suited for
EntryNext-generation antivirus, device control, anti-phishing and file server protection; Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOSCloud or on-premises management console and basic AI protection. Mobile, patching, mail and Microsoft 365 protection only as add-onsCompanies that need a reliable foundation with central management
AdvancedEntry capabilities plus full AI securityAdvanced threat defence, recovery of files encrypted by ransomware, full-disk encryption, cloud virtual machine protection and free mobile device protectionCompanies with laptops and sensitive data
CompleteAdvanced capabilitiesVulnerability and patch management, Exchange mail server, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace protectionOrganisations using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. This is the plan ESET recommends
EliteComplete capabilitiesXDR (ESET Inspect) and multi-factor authenticationOrganisations with 25 or more devices and an IT or security team to investigate incidents
MDRElite capabilities24/7 managed detection and response by ESET specialists, Premium supportOrganisations with 25 or more devices that need round-the-clock monitoring without their own security team

Plans start at 5 devices; Elite and MDR start at 25. For the smallest offices (5 to 25 devices without an IT administrator) ESET also offers Small Business Security, managed through ESET HOME; when we manage the devices, we choose ESET PROTECT plans because they are managed centrally.

ESET package contents may change. This table was updated on 1 October 2026 from ESET's plan comparison ↗. Before purchase, we verify the current features and provide a specific proposal.
